Angelo Kalpakis is a senior technology executive and software architect with over 35 years of experience designing, building, and deploying mission-critical point-of-sale (POS) and payment systems for retail, hospitality, and specialty verticals.

As a co-founder and partner, Angelo has played a central role in the architecture, evolution, and long-term success of enterprise-grade POS and transaction processing platforms that have been in continuous production use for decades. His work spans the full lifecycle of product development—from low-level systems programming and device integration to cloud-based services, security, compliance, and large-scale customer deployments.

Angelo’s technical background is rooted in high-performance native development (C/C++ on Windows) and has evolved to include modern cloud and web technologies, including Python, REST-based services, and scalable backend architectures. He has led the design of fully integrated payment solutions, including debit and credit authorization components, hardware control, settlement workflows, and processor integrations—supporting multiple customer verticals and deployment models.

Beyond engineering, Angelo is deeply involved in product strategy, system architecture, and long-term platform planning, ensuring that solutions remain reliable, extensible, and aligned with changing market and regulatory requirements. He brings a pragmatic, hands-on approach to leadership, with a strong emphasis on stability, security, and real-world operational needs.
